Anne M. Dorner Middle School teacher’s endeavors are for middle school students to be ready for the transition from elementary to high school. New York State now requires that all children pass a series of regents’ examinations in order to graduate. Parents will be pleased to know that this school believes that it is of the up-most importance to help young students develop both socially and emotionally as well as scholastically.

Some of the key studies at Anne M. Dorner Middle School are language, math, art, technology programs, and an innovative music program. Policies of the district are set forth and advise students, parents, employees and the general public that it offers employment and educational opportunities, including vocational education opportunities without regard to sex, race, color, national origin or handicap. The community stays very involved and works with the teaching staff to ensure excellence in teaching methods and standards for every student who attends for their educational facility.
