Academy Street Elementary School strives to meet and exceed the expectations of the district as well as parents when it comes to the education needs of their students.

The school, administration, and staff are committed to enhancing and enriching the total education experience for every child, which are dedicated to creating a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for students to learn and to grow. The curriculum is designed to challenge each grade level that supports developmental process while letting each child advance at their pace instead of leaving one child behind or one becoming bored due to moving quickly.

As well as providing all students with the education tools they need to succeed, Academy Street Elementary School incorporates a strong emphasis on character development and citizenship. Respect for one another is another aspect that is instilled in every student.

Along with having an excellent Parent Teacher Association where all parents can work with the school to ensure the success of every student, the school also has many other clubs and programs to give students more ways in which to become excited about their education such as the Academic Fair and Computer Technology.
