Academy of Urban Planning lend a hand to students so the can develop and apply leadership skills while achieving academic success. The Academy's urban planning; theme-based curriculum draws students out of the classroom and into their communities to develop skills that will move them toward higher education and professional careers. The school apples a common philosophy set forth by the school board that is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society. The staff encourages individual excellence by students of all ages so that they may gain a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and work.
