Westbury Union Free School District is made up of seven trustees who serve three-year terms. The terms are staggered so that either two or three of the trustees are elected by the district’s voters each spring and they are responsible for setting educational policy in the school district. The Board seeks to create a partnership reflecting the high standards of supportive families, conscientious learners, committed staff and an involved community.

Westbury Union Free School District Athletic Program provides a variety of experiences for the development of sports skills, physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for others that prepare students for success upon graduation. Education provided serves a diverse, multilingual student population of immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language.
