Tuckahoe Schools

Tuckahoe Union Free School District stays focused on developing specialized curriculum and support services for all its students geared to improve academic focus and achievement at a very difficult stage of life. Extracurricular and athletic opportunities have been expanded to include chess, peer leadership, bowling, tennis, hockey and track in partnership with Eastchester Schools, community service groups, expanded intramurals at the Cottle School, and a proposed Tuckahoe High School Debate Team.

The local community of Tuckahoe is a highly sought after place to live. Tuckahoe offers a variety of shops and wonderful restaurants. It is centrally located, close to Manhattan as well as White Plains. This school system is supervised by the Tuckahoe Union Free School Board of Education which is made up of five district residents; each elected to serve a three-year term without pay. Their primary responsibilities are to establish policies for the educational program and the management of the school district. The Superintendent and the administration are responsible for the execution of these policies.
