Eight elementary schools, two preparatory schools, and the state-of-the-art Niagara Falls High School provide instruction from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. It also operates a Community Education Center that serves the community with adult learning programs. The District administration and staff is committed to educational excellence for the individual, partnership with the community, and life-long learning.

Seven NFCSD schools have been designated “High Performing” by New York State, including two named Blue Ribbon Schools under No Child Left Behind. The District has earned Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Accreditation and is an Empire State Advantage Gold Level Awardee. The Board is an elected body, which sets policies and provides direction to the District administration. Members serve five-year terms; election and budget votes are held annually on the third Tuesday in May.

The teachers and parents work hand-in-hand along with other local community officials to focus on making the learning experience one of excellence. Niagara Falls City School District offers many learning programs all designed to encourage the growth and development of each child’s personal interest and abilities. You will notice a diversity of student from different cultures and religions along with the school promoting a solid learning base for all its young learners. Teachers are dedicated to preparing these young students for achieving success in future grade levels.
