Nanuet is located between West Nyack and Spring Valley to the east and west, respectively, and Pearl River and New City to the south and north, respectively. The Nanuet Union Free School District is the smallest of the eight Rockland districts, Nanuet measures up against the largest, as shown by our numerous and varied awards. They are the first district in Rockland County to have all its schools accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, an international agency that judges how well schools measure up against an independent scale of excellence.
