Schools create conditions for success academically, socially, emotionally, physically, & aesthetically. Teaching and learning are the shared responsibilities of home, school & community. The mission is to assure comprehensive learning for all so that each person will be a lifelong learner.”

The educational programs in Lockport City School District provide a wide range of challenges in various subjects to meet the needs and talents of the student population including the basic educational needs of Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The staff and teachers strive to create a learning environment that will promote self worth, respect for others, and the appreciation of learning.

The Lockport's community is diverse and prosperous. There are more than 50 manufacturing firms in Lockport and over 850 retail and commercial establishments in the town and city of Lockport combined. Main Street in our City is currently being renovated. Historic-type light fixtures, courtyards, and building facelifts are being planned. Our Town continues to bring in new businesses and restaurants to service our community, while planning carefully to keep the green spaces that we enjoy.
