The Liverpool Central School District encompasses the village of Liverpool and portions of the towns of Clay and Salina. More than 55,000 residents live in Liverpool and more than 8,000 students attend one of Liverpool's 10 elementary schools, three middle schools, the Liverpool High School Annex or Liverpool High School.
Some of the Liverpool Central School District students also have competed in numerous academic competitions at the regional, state, national and international level each year and have won numerous awards and accolades. Most recently the district received national recognition when the NAMM Foundation named Liverpool one of the "Best Communities for Music Education."
