Lewiston-Porter Schools

Lewiston-Porter Central School District is located at 4061 Creek Road in Youngstown, New York. The district provides a quality education for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grades in four facilities including Lewiston-Porter Middle School, Lewiston-Porter Senior High School, Lewiston-Porter Intermediate Center, and the Lewiston-Porter Primary Education Center.

The Mission of the Lewiston-Porter Central School District is “to create a learning environment which challenges each unique individual to become a self-sufficient, responsible, and contributing member of society and encourages each to achieve his/her highest potential through a life-long learning process.”

The school district is home north of the city of Niagara Falls on the shores of Lake Ontario while bordering on the Niagara River. Niagara County is known for its agricultural economy, however, Lewiston-Porter’s rural area is beginning to disappear due to the fact of residents working in the nearby cities of Niagara Falls, Buffalo, and Lockport are seeking a more rural lifestyle.

The district has been recognized in Newsweek Magazine in 2000 and 2003 while the high school was recognized as a TOP 100 Ranked High School in the Nation and is still ranking high since this time. Along with the high school, the middle school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges.
