Island Trees Union Free School District the PTA maintain its commitment and service to all children and to its diverse membership through increased parent and community awareness, advocacy, education and involvement of the Island Trees Union Free School District . The district continues to expand its technology program by upgrading our network and installing interactive whiteboards. They have also installed the Connect-Ed system that will give them the ability to contact parents by telephone simultaneously with important announcements.

All the staff, administrators, teachers, teacher aides, pupil personnel are certification by the state of New York. The New York State Education Department has recognized Island Trees UFSD as a High Performing School District. The district continues to implement bond projects as they receive approvals from the State Education Department. They have also completed the work recommended by the EPA.
