Hendrick Hudson Schools

Hendrick Hudson Central School District is located at 61 Trolley Road Montrose, NY serving grades K-12 in Westchester County. The Hendrick Hudson School District is committed to providing an excellent education for all of our students. Its many outstanding features include: a comprehensive technology plan integrated into the K-12 instructional program; a full day kindergarten program; and a balanced assessment program. An enrichment program is offered, and full special education service is available. Modern library media centers are at each school.

Students may choose to participate from among 40 interscholastic sports teams (many of which have been "champions") and extracurricular activities including a nationally ranked debate team, mathletes, newspaper, literary magazine, drama, Student Organization, and art, science and foreign language clubs.

The three elementary schools provide K-5 children with programs aligned with NYSED standards promoting their social, emotional and physical development. Children are grouped heterogeneously, with provision for various ability levels in math and reading. Special instruction is offered in art, computers, general and instrumental music, physical education and library skills. Cultural Enrichment Programs are special features which bring shows, speakers and hands on demonstration to each school.
