The district is home to four elementary schools, which include Armor Elementary, Boston Valley Elementary, Charlotte Avenue Elementary, and Union Pleasant Avenue along with one Hamburg Middle School and Hamburg High School. The district includes students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grades.

The district of Hamburg is home along the western border of Erie County just a bit south of Buffalo, New York. Hamburg is a historical town with several artifacts of the Kahquak and the Erie Indians found in the area, along with being a beautiful place to live with many unique family attractions and activities.

The Hamburg Central School District’s mission states, “The mission of the Hamburg Central School District is to provide, through a framework of excellence and partnerships between a committed staff and an informed, supportive community, a learning experience that produces literate, adaptable, responsible citizens who have positive attitudes, abilities to think analytically and creatively, manage personal resources, apply technologies, relate to the global community and appreciate the contributions of diverse cultures.”
