Franklin Square Union Free School District is providing students with a successful foundation in elementary education. The Franklin Square School System is made up of three elementary schools which are John Street School, Polk Street School, and Washington Street School. Students attending in this district are challenged with their Accelerated Reading Programs. The PTA provides exciting cultural arts programs with stage productions, author visits and challenging math/science experiences. Computer lab is another learning area where students use technology to create projects and publish their own books.

The Franklin Square Union Free School District has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions.
