Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District is located at 8199 East Seneca Turnpike Manlius, NY providing education for grades K-12 in Onondaga County. The District was established in 1951, when several small districts united with the Fayetteville and Manlius village grade and high schools. Today, the district has three elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. From the time it was formed until 2005, the district was led by only four superintendents. This remarkable consistency of leadership has allowed the district to achieve the nationally-recognized successful in academics, athletics, and the arts that is our hallmark.

Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District embraces an educational philosophy that supports the values of a democratic society and prepares students for higher education and meaningful life work. Within our instructional program, the district emphasizes skills for personal health, respect of self and others, decision-making, and a love of learning. All students are encouraged to develop to their fullest potential, and to understand their heritage, their uniqueness, and the society and government in which they live.

The district has a vibrant partnership with the community, which has a high interest in academics, the arts and athletics, and shows strong support for the school system.
The staff believes in proudly sharing and celebrating the differences in all students while striving to ensure that all students and staff feel like an integral part of our school family. As a district, they are constantly striving to find ways to improve and increase student results. All members of our school community are seeking the same goal and are working together to meet and exceed the New York Learning Standards, while encouraging our students to become responsible and productive citizens.
