Elwood Schools

Elwood Union Free School District is proud of the percentage of students graduating that receives Regents diplomas consistently every year. They are a technology rich school system with computers being used in each class room. The district feels that technology is a vital tool to ensure their students are taught with state-of-the-art information. The Special Education Department provides services to students that have disabilities for ages 3 through 21. The program allows students to access full educational opportunities that otherwise would not be possible. The intent of the program is to help prepare Special need students to live and work independently. The Elwood Union Free School District continues to look for ways to improve educational opportunities for their students and they accomplished this through a variety of district-wide committees.
