East Williston Schools

East Williston Union Free School District provides students with the tools to become critical thinkers; information collection and synthesis; problem solving; writing; communication; and team-work. East Williston Teachers realize that theses skills are necessary to succeed in today's technologically competitive job market and to function effectively in a global society. The East Williston Union Free School District appreciates the help of the PTO Executive Board, the committee chairs, general membership and School Staff, which are able to sponsor many wonderful cultural arts programs, community events and fundraising activities. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to get involved and take an active role in their child's educational experience.

East Williston Union encourages students to participate in the interscholastic athletic program and feel it is a worthwhile experience that all students should be given the opportunity to voluntarily pursue. The East Williston Union Free School District affirms the right of every student to participate in the interscholastic athletic program without regard to gender, race or religion. They support the regulations and spirit of Title IX legislation and do not limit one gender in the enjoyment of any right, privilege, advantage, or opportunity.
