East Moriches Union Free School District encourages students to get involved in sports as the district is home to such a wide selection of athletic activities. Their P.T.O works closely with parents, administrators and teaching staff to serve and enrich the educational programs and special activities for students. Music Program are available starting at Kindergarten levels through Seventh Grade. Incorporated in the instruction are movement, performance, analysis and creation of music as outlined in the New York State Standards of Music. The East Moriches Union Free School District aims to develop in all students a desire to increase their knowledge and use this knowledge to the full extent of their potential in order to better understand themselves, their fellow men and their surroundings, as well as to encourage appreciation and respect toward them.
