Arkport Schools

Arkport Central School District is located at 35 East Avenue Arkport, NY serving grades K-12 in Steuben County. They house all grades from kindergarten through twelfth in one building. A kindergartner walks in the front door and thirteen years later walks out that same door while a new kindergartner walks in. This creates a special atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else, but also lends itself to an environment where everyone cares about each other. The Arkport Central School District believes that all students can learn and achieve. They work together with the
mission for all students to achieve minimum academic mastery of basic academic skills and to become responsible, productive members of society. Each student should be challenged to the fullest limit of his or her ability.

The Arkport Central School District accepts the responsibility for educating our students to an increasingly higher level of academic performance while fostering in them positive growth in social/emotional behaviors. The student body can choose from a wide range of extra curricular activities. Through academics, student activities, and athletics we strive to provide all students with a complete and comprehensive education that offers multiple opportunities to develop abilities, express talents, exercise responsibility, and engage in the process of lifelong learning. Ultimately, they seek to graduate confident, enthusiastic, respectful and participating citizens who will enjoy learning throughout their lives.
