Woodmere Middle School has an active Student Council that has developed an ongoing relationship and exchange of visits with residents of the Woodmere Health Care Center.
Interdisciplinary instructional units build a sense of belonging. These are comprised of a team of subject teachers who plan connecting lessons, getting to know every student personally and working with guidance counselors and support staff to see that every youngster's strengths are developed and needs are met.
Woodmere Middle School teaches in a safe and orderly school environment where students will receive quality educational services without disruption or interference. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. The district has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity.
