The School has a longstanding tradition of excellence in sports. The District's interscholastic athletic program is the third largest high school sports program in New York State. Participation of high school students is consistently high, with 208 teams from varsity to modified team sports.
English Language Arts Program is aligned with the New York State learning standards and key ideas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Grade level performance indicators and literacy competencies specify the skills and strategies that students should know, understand, and are able to do with proficiency by the end of the year in which they first appear.
