William T. Hoag Elementary School is located at 42 Sunset Boulevard in Angola, New York. William T. Hoag Elementary School is one of the five elementary schools in Evans-Brant Central School District that provides a quality education for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grades.
The mission at William T. Hoag Elementary School is “Making Our School a Better Place to Learn, Share, and Succeed.”
The school emphasizes a character education trait in that all students will be taught to have good character, praised for showing good character, and recognized for good character traits. Each month a new theme is introduced which includes respect, citizenship, caring, responsibility, honesty, tolerance, diligence, trustworthiness, courage, fairness, and courage.
William T. Hoag Elementary School provides a Pre-kindergarten program and a full day Kindergarten. Along with providing a great education, William T. Hoag Elementary School provides a caring and nurturing learning environment, which promotes the academic success of all students. Importance is placed on critical thinking and problem solving skills for every student in each grade level. Academic intervention programs in ELA and math are also offered along with programs for special education and gifted and talented programs.
The basic educational needs such as math, English Language Arts, History, and Science along with wonderful programs such as ALPHA, art, music, physical education, academic intervention services for reading and math, and therapy services for occupational therapy and speech.
