William H. Golding Middle School is located at 193 Golding Drive Cobleskill, NY serving grades 6-8. This New York Public School is governed under the supervision of the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District School Board in Schoharie County. The School Board actively works with various goals for ensuring the best education while providing a safe nurturing environment for all students in the district. Goals include financial, instructional, facilities, personnel, and community. All the staff, teachers, administrators, parents, and the community are working together to prepare students for life.

The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. Parents with children attending this public School enjoy the, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement. The school applies common philosophies set forth by the school community which is to provide students a sound environment for educational excellence that will develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and values to become contributing members of society.

This school has strong PTA support with target goals to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education. The educational program provides a broad spectrum to meet the needs and talents of the diverse population.
