Wheatley School

About
Wheatley School Educational Technology staff is ready to help teachers and students integrate technology into their curricula and projects. The use of technology by the teachers and students has become an essential component of every day instructional practices. Wheatley School strives to provide teachers and students with the appropriate technology opportunities to support their teaching and learning. All students have access to the IMC Student Production Room equipped with computers, scanner and printers throughout the day. Every classroom is equipped with a computer, DVD player, ceiling mounted projector, VCR and a document camera or overhead projector. Many of our classrooms have Smart board’s, an interactive whiteboard.

Wheatley School courses are offered, with honors or accelerated programs in mathematics, science, English and foreign languages. Sixteen college-level courses in English, Spanish, French, American & European History, government, economics, art, calculus, biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, and computer science challenge the talented student body. Wheatley supports a wide variety of co-curricular activities for students. The school publishes a monthly newspaper, an annual poetry and art magazine, and a yearbook. Students participate in scholastic competitions through mock trial teams, computer and math teams, and the Brainstormers team.
