Wheatland Chili High School is located at 940 North Road Scottsville, NY. This school district provides education for grades 7 through 12 for the Community of Scottsville. Scottsville is a village in Monroe County, New York. Wheatland-Chili High School boasts an impressive array of academic programs that appeal to college-bound and employment minded students. In addition to core subjects, individuals may choose from an expansive selection of courses that include classes such as international business, critical film study, advanced photography, sports marketing and management, and business law. Advanced Placement courses are also available in the areas of English, Social Studies, Science, Math, and Art.
Wheatland-Chili also offers two incredible opportunities for college-bound students who are interested in engineering, the justice system, health professions, education, or emerging professions (i.e. veterinary science, journalism, business management, or information technology). The first course of study is “Project Lead the Way,” a pre-engineering program designed to help students explore technology related careers. Students may also take part in “New Visions,” an interdisciplinary immersion program that offers college-bound seniors the opportunity to spend half-days during their senior year exploring the career of their choice while completing high school and earning college credit.
For students preparing for meaningful employment after high school graduation, programs are available through the Career and Technical Education Center located in neighboring Spencerport. Students may also participate in a School-to-Work Internship Program or Youth Apprenticeship Program.
