Westhampton Beach Elementary School programs provide students in grades K-5 with a solid education and a thorough foundation in the basic skills. Students are instructed in reading, mathematics, language arts, social studies, health, science, and foreign language. In addition, classes are offered in physical education, vocal and instrumental music, art, and library. Instruction is also provided in the area of technology. Students are supplied with learning technology at kindergarten grade levels, and by the end of Elementary School, students will have mastered keyboarding and word-processing and have been exposed to School Island for class prep, extensive data bases through the library, presentation tools and a variety of content software. Each student is an important member of the Westhampton Beach school community, and the faculty and staff will work cooperatively to create an education environment in which all students have the opportunity to experience success in all aspects of their school life.
