With a number of natural and historic landmarks (many included on the National Park Services' Register of Historic Places), Westfield is also a developmentally-friendly rural community that has a strong agricultural economic base. With a reverence and appreciation for its own and the region’s history and natural resources, Westfield is a wonderful place to live, do business and visit.
New families will find this district makes great efforts to ensure that core curriculum is meaningful, innovative, and abides by the New York State learning standards. The curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
