West Hempstead High School

About  
West Hempstead High School teachers are helping all students learn by integrating technology into their classes and focusing on teaching concepts, problem-solving, and real world application. Both friendly and supportive parents that desire a quality education for their children are very active in the Parent Teacher Association and strive to ensure that each child can achieve excellent learning success. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.

West Hempstead High School teachers work closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction.
