West Babylon Junior High School is dedicated to preparing students to be successful in our constantly changing society. It is therefore important that students understand and incorporate present and future technologies into their lives. It is the goal that each student has the opportunity to acquire transferable skills that will enable them to be lifelong learners. Teachers all understand the importance of establishing a climate to learn where students are able to attain academic success because they are comfortable socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Students are taught in various subjects to meet the needs and talents of the student population including the basic educational needs of Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The West Babylon staff of teachers, parents, and students all work together to ensure that all educational, counseling, and social needs are met while adhering to the mission of the district.
