Ward Melville Senior High School

Ward Melville Senior High School has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity. Teachers are using interdisciplinary instruction and flexible scheduling comfortable adjustment for high school students. The school encourages creativity and initiative, which will enable students to become actively engaged in their own learning while challenging them to become responsible for their success. Parents are appreciative of the excellent teachers, the high standards of the district, and the curriculum of the school. The Ward Melville Senior High School teachers and staff strive to offer an encouraging, nurturing, and enabling learning environment in which the best educational tools and resources are available for all students.
