Walter G. O'connell Copiague High School has opportunities for students let them explore their own potential through such programs as internships and Senior Projects. Services are provided to the English Language Learners, children with special educational needs, and students with exceptional talents and gifts. These school is staffed with guidance counselors, nurses, social workers, and a student assistance counselor who work together to ensure that each child learns in the best possible environment. The teachers strive to encourage the growth of each student to ensure confidence and pride in their accomplishments, so each student can become productive members in their community and society as a whole.
