Vernon E. Wightman Primary School is located at 216 Maple Hts Bath, NY serving grades PK-3 in Steuben County. Vernon E. Wightman Primary School offers a comprehensive educational program that builds a solid foundation as your child begins his/her school career. With an integrated approach to our Pre-K through third grade curriculum, ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies and health are woven throughout all that they do. In addition, they provide the students with character education, arts integration, and technology enrichment opportunities.
All of the students participate in physical education, music, art, library and computer classes. The curriculum is enhanced with a variety of field trips and community service projects that are on-going through the year. School students find a wide array of academic courses and extra-curricular activities to take part in. Student strengths as well as areas in need of improvement are identified through the expert services of the experienced staff. Subject area courses and attending programs in related fields are geared to provide both challenge and reward toward increasing student achievement.
