Valhalla Middle School students receive a challenging education in an environment that recognizes the individual differences and needs of each child. Music, Art, and Physical Education programs sustain our belief in educating the whole child. Through character education we develop the skills necessary for social development and good citizenship.
The curriculum is focused on the development of literacy that includes reading, writing, speaking, listening, and technology. Classrooms are alive with activity that promotes these academic skills while embedding the content areas of Science and Socials Studies. Math is taught very explicitly through Everyday Mathematics, a program that encourages skill and strategy development.
