Truman Moon School is located at 53 Bedford Avenue Middletown, NY and it serves grades K-1 in Orange County. Truman Moon's computer lab boasts computers for student use. Every teacher in our building is connected to the Internet in their classroom. Art, music and physical education classes are “specials” that the children particularly enjoy and excel in! Their experiences using sight, sound and movement teach problem solving strategies and higher order thinking skills that enhance confidence and learning across all curriculum areas. The staff utilizes developmentally appropriate teaching strategies aimed at providing instructional programs aligned with the NYS Learning Standards and which are meaningful and relevant to life in our Middletown community.
