Ticonderoga Middle School is located at 116 Alexandria Avenue in Ticonderoga, New York. This in the only public middle school in Ticonderoga Central School District providing educational opportunities for students in 6th through 8th grades.
Teachers, staff, and the administration at Ticonderoga Middle School realize just how important students years are during this transitional phase of their education; leaving elementary school and in a just a short three years heading off to high school. Due to this, students are treated and respected as individuals while each student has the opportunity to learn in a safe and nurturing environment that works with the whole student.
Ticonderoga Middle School endeavors to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive time of development for each student that will enable him or her to achieve to the best of their abilities. The school stresses the development of the whole child by instilling in students a sense of positive self-worth, self-respect, and self-confidence along with the belief that each can succeed. Ticonderoga Middle School , in cooperation with families, will give students all the necessary academic and personal/social knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the middle-level grades, high school and beyond.
