The Thomas S. O'brien Academy of Science and Technology is commonly referred to as TOAST. It is located in Lincoln Park in Albany and is part of the city’s school district. This magnet school focuses on technology and science and offers admissions based on a lottery. Students attending the school must meet high expectations because the school is committed to excelling. The faculty and staff focus on the students and parents are highly involved in the school. The school offers things like an outdoor learning center and geological rock park, museum discovery room, Latin instruction, theme camp environment, science and computer rooms, and much more.
