While Thomas K. Beecher School provides the basic educational needs in English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science, they also offer many awards and other activities for students to become involved in many different educational and fun activities. Students are awards with honors for achievement, improvement, and efforts along with monthly awards for positive behavior. Not only does the school recognize students but also they work with their community with such things as fund raises such as the Math-A-Thon that raised $1,694 for St. Jude’s Research Hospital. During this event, 27 students participated where sponsors donated money according to the number of math problems the student they sponsored answered correctly.
The staff, teachers, and parents strive to provide a caring, safe, and secure environment where students can learn and succeed while giving each student the attention they deserve as an individual to learn and grow for their school days ahead and life, where learning is a lifelong experience.
