Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School is the only school in the district that provides to students in third, fourth, and fifth grades. Dividing students in this manner allows teachers and staff to work closely to the needs of individual’s students while providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment that will prepare each student for middle school.
Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School strives to make certain that all students enjoy learning in order to become lifelong learners in a world that is ever changing through technology and communication. The staff, administration, and teachers support the development of such qualities as self-confidence and respect for others and themselves through an array of programs. With all the exceptional programs that teach students to be part of a team as well as becoming self-thinkers students will be able to stand out and become productive members of society.
Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School believes that character education is one of the most important aspects in a students life during these grades and work with students to allow each student the time needed for self-reflection and exploration which will provide students with stamina, support, self esteem, and success as well as the development of strong, caring, and responsible citizens.
