Thomas A. Edison School students must be able to solve real problems, reason effectively and make logical connections. With the passage of the federal school reform legislation, the No Child Left behind Act compels us to act now to provide high-quality, equitable educational opportunities to all children in our schools.
By encouraging students' maximum human and intellectual development, Thomas A. Edison School will promote a commitment to equity and excellence. Thomas has sturdy PTA support with plan goals to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
