Stokes Elementary School is located at 9095 Turin Road Rome, NY and grades K-4 attend this school in Oneida County, New York. Stokes School is a K-4 building. Everyone works together to see that this learning environment is a safe and joy filled place. I congratulate the students and their parents who come to school and send their children to school ready to learn. And I am very proud of the staffs we have who have dedicated themselves to teaching the students using state of the art skills and state of the heart caring.
Stokes Elementary School wants all students to be safe, engaging environment that values all members of the community and encourages them to pursue their full potential as life-long learners and respectful citizens. The teachers make every effort to incorporate literacy learning in all areas of learning: social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts.
Parents with children attending Stokes Elementary School enjoy the fact the district have small classrooms, caring, dedicated teachers, and the desire of the school for parent involvement. Parents are welcome to visit anytime and even enjoy eating lunch with their child or help in the classroom. The staff and teachers adhere to a quality education and do not allow others to interfere in the educational process such as disruptions.
Stokes Elementary School believes in working with the whole child and strives to make the transition from childhood to adolescence a positive time of the student’s development that will allow all students to achieve to the best of their abilities.
