Seward Institute mission is felt throughout the community with the belief that all students can learn and the school stands firm they will graduate students who exemplify responsibility, posses positive self-esteem, have value for citizenship, and a life long interest in learning. The above-mentioned qualities while give students the tools they need to become contributing members of society.

Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. S.S. Seward Institute has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity.

The staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. There are several different cultures and religions attending S.S. Seward Institute so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching these young minds and prepare them for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects.
