Southwestern Elementary School is located at 600 Hunt Road Jamestown, NY. Grade levels Pk-5th are taught at Southwestern Elementary School. The School Board is comprised of unpaid officials elected by the voters to take the formal legal actions and establish the basic policies for the conduct of the schools. The chief executive officer of the District (Superintendent) and is trusted with the duty of seeing that the Board policies and education laws are adhered to by the staff. Southwestern Elementary School is the only elementary facility in the Southwestern Central School District at Jamestown.
Students are learning basic educational skills in math, reading, science, social studies, music, art, and computer. Technology is always being advanced here to ensure students can and will achieve their full potential in every field of study and you will their work proudly displayed in hall ways and other places to show their pride.
Southwestern Elementary School recognizes that with strong community and parent support they are able to enrich each other and the lives of our students. Parents and other people around the community are always welcome to stop in and participate in this event or some of the other activities they do throughout the year.
