This school offers education to grades 9th through the 12th and is committed to providing a safe and orderly school environment where students may receive and district personnel may deliver quality educational services without disruption or interference. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. Southern Cayuga High School sits on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Aurora has been known as an educational center since the 1790's when its first school was built. The educational program provides a broad spectrum to meet the needs and talents of the diverse population.
