South Side High School

About  
South Side High School program works to develop students to have confidence in themselves as learners, instills a love of learning and a desire to learn and develops the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for students to communicate effectively, understand the world about them and participate effectively in a democratic society. Instruction in this school is conducted in a manner to foster pride among students and faculty. South Side High School has comprehensive academic programs provide each student with a strong foundation in the core curricula areas of language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science.

The physical education, health, music, art, library and technology programs are also an exciting part of each student’s instruction. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are emphasized, and promote excellence and lifelong learning. The community spirit has promoted a sense of commitment to the school district, which serves as a community center and a source of pride for all.
