South Bronx Academy for Applied Media works to bring students up to New York State standards for reading that have fallen behind. Students at Applied Media have the opportunity to make documentary films. The school has self contained classes for special needs children only. The School community works to foster each child's intellectual, social and emotional development thereby enabling every child to become a productive, lifelong learner. The committed staff will model this, in cooperation with all elements of the community, ensuring developmentally appropriate education and support within a respectful, safe and caring environment.
