Signal Hill Elementary School is staffed with psychologists; guidance counselors, nurses, social workers, and a student assistance counselor who work together to ensure students are equipped with all the professional help they need to become a success. Teachers recognize the need for balance between active, child-initiated learning and teacher directed instruction. Respect for individual differences is taught by example, as they respect, value and build on the individual and unique experiences that each child brings to the program.
