Sequoya Middle School is a great place to learn. The teachers and staff spend a great deal of time getting to know each child to better meet their social and academic needs. They look at each child and differentiate education to meet the needs of each individual. The teachers at Sequoya seek to shape a partnership with the students and parents. The first contact should be the classroom teacher if you have academic or social concerns. The Guidance Department is available to facilitate communication and provide strategies to help students succeed academically and socially. Sequoya Middle School program works to develop students to have confidence in themselves as learners, instills a love of learning and a desire to learn and develops the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for students to communicate effectively, understand the world about them and participate effectively in a democratic society.
