Seneca School students work through the problems of growing from childhood to adulthood. Students learn how to relate to and to communicate with other children, to work with adults, to form friendships and to resolve conflicts. They learn to work as members of groups and teams. Perhaps one of the most important experiences students have in this school is sharing common academic learning with others of varying backgrounds.

Seneca School staff has a personal interest in developing students’ independent and creative thought, willingness to accept intellectual risks and challenges, forming superior work habits and cooperative, positive approaches to learning. While these attributes cannot always be precisely measured and adjusted, Teachers honor them and work energetically to foster their development. There is no doubt that the development of these skills brings with them not only a sense of academic achievement but also a feeling of pride and satisfaction.
