Selden Middle School administration strongly encourages parents to be active and participate in their child education. At Selden they are in the teaching business and strive to enable each student to master their skills and attitudes that will not only be successful in the short term, but will remain with them throughout their lifetimes. Productive social skills are qualified to assist children be victorious in social situations in which they has to deal with daily. Apparent opportunity for appropriate behavior are conveyed and reinforced to students at Selden Middle School. Parents working as partners input and suggestions are welcomed. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world issues. They will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities.
