Second Opportunity School curriculum is aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and enriched by an innovative reading series and technology instructions. The staff of teachers and other officials works closely with parents and the entire community to provide the best education possible for students. The staff works collaboratively to provide appropriate learning experiences that will contribute to the needs of each child in all areas of development socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Education programs and services are designed to meet the varying needs of all students and will not discriminate against any individual for reasons of race, creed, color, gender, national origin, economic status or handicap.
